At Sallywags Dog Salon I aim to give your dog the best possible grooming experience and meet you and your dogs needs in a caring environment. A consultation will be given where I will discuss your dog’s grooming needs in detail and will make suggestions as to the best style and method (i.e. Breed Standard or Domestic Trim). Shampoos and conditioners are chosen for the needs of the individual dog which will leave your dog’s coat feeling and looking soft and clean and smelling wonderful. I take into consideration the dog’s lifestyle, skin condition, health issues and condition of the coat as these can determine the way in which a dog is to be styled. A grooming session is unique to your dog and I am dedicated to make your pet feel happy and relaxed!
Services
Full Groom includes:
Brush out to remove any knots or loose shedding hair, nails clipped, ears cleaned and plucked if necessary, two washes, conditioner, drying, clip, scissor to your specifications, finishing spray and a treat or two.
Bath and Blow Dry includes:
Two washes, conditioner, drying, finishing spray and a treat or two. (Only available for well maintained coats)
Puppy Visit – Suitable for puppies six months or under. This is a 30-minute introduction to brushing, nail clipping and ear cleaning with a light trim of face, feet and sanitary area, allowing the puppy to get used to the noises and environment of the salon with lots of fuss and treats.
Puppy Bath – Suitable for puppies six months or under. This is a 1-hour introduction to bathing and drying which includes brushing, nail clipping and ear cleaning with a light trim of face, feet and sanitary area, allowing the puppy to get used to the noises and environment of the salon with lots of fuss and treats.

My name is Sally Dougan. I am happily married and have two lovely sons. I have lived in Oxfordshire all my life and I have owned, loved and had a passion for dogs from the age of three.
Opening Sallywags Dog Salon has fulfilled my life long dream to have my own dog grooming salon.
I passed a Level 3 Professional Dog Grooming course with distinction and have had practical grooming experience in other salons and with my own dogs.
